Mission
Here at Footprints Preschool, we believe that God created each child with unique strengths and gifts, and that He greatly desires to have a lasting personal relationship with each of His Little Ones. Our mission is to support and enhance this relationship with Jesus through the knowledge of Biblical truths, while developing compassion and caring for others in a Christ-centered environment.
Philosophy
We understand that children learn through play—they develop relationships with others and define and understand the world around them while engaging in classroom activities. Footprints Preschool provides developmentally appropriate faith-based instruction combined with multi-sensory play and hands-on learning opportunities to support each child’s spiritual, socio-emotional, intellectual, and physical needs. Working together with families, our staff looks forward to helping build the foundation for continued growth and learning beyond the walls of the preschool.
Developing the Whole Child
The teachers of Footprints Preschool will provide opportunities for children to engage in both large and small groups settings, as well as time for exploration in learning centers. Attention to the development of both fine and gross motor skills will be done through physical activity, as well as writing and the arts. Opportunities to engage in music, science, math, social studies, literacy and art will be integrated into daily lessons and learning centers.
